2018/19 NEICKO - UPDATE
The new regulations for the NEBA 2018/19 NEICKO competition have been posted in full on the NEICKO rules page (found under the COMPETITIONS link) or for your convenience, click HERE
These new regulations replace the information given below
Unfortunately we have only received 6 entries for this year's competition This means we cannot have a meaningful fully knock out competition, in full accordance with the rules of the competition. Accordingly we have to improvise.
In the circumstances the six teams are to be divided into 2 groups. Each group will play one home, and one away match, of 24 boards against the other 2 teams in its group. All matches to be played by 31 January.
The winners of each group will then play a 32 board match, with the winner receiving the Kempson Cup, and the loser the Kempson Plate. This match to be played by 28 February.
The winning team will then represent the NEBA in the Pachabo Cup.

CHRIS OWEN - FUNERAL
Chris' funeral is on Thursday 8th November at 12.30 pm
at All Saints Church Ravensdale Rd. Darlington DL3 8DT
After Jeremy Clarkson's silly article on bridge, I thought that I couldn't do any worse by adding a few other 'interesting facts' about the game we love.
The notes were made for a seminar, given at a bridge holiday that we ran in March this year.
If nothing else, they fill a gap until we get some up to date bridge news from the NEBA Congress.
